Graduation Information
Congratulations Class of 2023!
Graduation Ceremony: June 15, 2023, 10am
- June 2 - Senior fines for cafeteria, library, textbooks, and athletic wear/equipment will be posted in Genesis. To clear your fine:
- Cafeteria – see personnel in the North Cafeteria.
- Library – see library personnel in the Learning Commons.
- Textbooks – see the supervisor of the department.
- Athletic wear/equipment – see athletic personnel in room 126.

June 5 - We will be collecting seniors school issued Chromebooks and chargers on the following dates:
- June 5th - Learning Commons - 7:30am - 3:00pm.
- June 6th - Learning Commons - 7:30am - 3:00pm.
- June 7th - Learning Commons - 7:30am - 12:00pm.
Please make sure your Chromebook is in good working condition and the serial number on the Chromebook matches the number in Genesis before returning it. There will be a $10 fine for a missing charger. Failure to turn in your Chromebook will result in a $350 fine that could impact your participation in the graduation ceremony. June 9 - Obligation Day – Seniors should clear all fines, including, library fines, money owed on lunch account, school material fines, such as text books, athletic equipment fines, Chromebook and charger fines. Please check the parent portal daily for any fines.

- June 13 - Obligation Day
- 8:00 am - Graduation practice, seniors meet in gym 5/6.
- For seniors with no obligations, graduation cap and gown pick up immediately following practice
- Students with last names A–L - Room 105, students will enter through the outside doors near the gazebo.
- Students with last names M-Z - Room 106 students will enter through the outside doors located near the bathrooms opposite the JV Baseball Field.
- 1:00pm - 3:00pm - For seniors that cleared their obligations after 12pm on 6/12, Graduation cap and gown pick up in room 105.

Graduates arrive by 8:30 am, report to the JV Baseball Field. Procession begins at 9:45, ceremony to follow.

Graduation will be held, rain or shine, please look for information on our website for any time changes due to weather.

Graduation is approximately one and a half hours long.

Tickets will not be needed to attend our outdoor graduation.

Diploma covers are in the bag that the graduates cap and gown are in. This is the only diploma cover students will receive.

Graduates will need to print their name, on a piece of paper, affix it to the back of their diploma cover to show the students reading graduates names during the ceremony. This will be explained to graduates, and an example given at our 6/13 graduation practice.

Graduates should wear appropriate attire to graduation.

Graduates pick up their actual diploma after the ceremony in gymnasium 1/2.

Important Message About Parking on Graduation Day

Graduates need to arrive at 8:30am on June 15th and report to the JV Baseball Field.

Students cannot park on campus. Please feel free to drop off your child and then park.

Carpool if possible as parking is limited.

Weather permitting, parking on Mountain Avenue fields will be permitted.

We will be providing shuttle service from Mountain Avenue to the North Parking lot area.

You will be able to drop off anyone that needs assistance getting to the turf field in the North Parking lot by the JV baseball field by 8:00am. We will escort the person in a golf cart to the field as you park your car in general parking. Due to space limitations, only one person can sit with a handicapped individual in the designated area behind the graduates, all other family members and friends must sit in the stands.

Anyone in need of handicapped parking must have a State MVC Handicap Placard and/or State MVC HC license plates; we will not be supplying placards. Handicap parking will be in the North Building parking lot near the tennis courts.
