Principal's Letter to Parents of Seniors
May 28, 2019
Dear Parents of Seniors,
It is hard to believe that June is almost here. Our seniors recognize their time here is short, and as excited as they are about their futures, they are having those reflective moments and wondering where their four years have gone. We know from our own experience that they will remember this brief window of time long after graduation.
As we prepare to send our seniors into the world, we want you to know how proud we are of them. To honor the Class of 2019, we have several celebrations and programs planned in June. And with just over two weeks left, no one wants a poor decision to result in the loss of the privilege of attending the prom or participating in the commencement ceremony. We know the seniors want to move forward with their fine reputation intact. We will do our best to keep our students focused and engaged in school, and we ask that you reinforce this message at home.
In Thursday afternoon’s Warrior Weekly, you will be receiving information about graduation and special upcoming events for our seniors. Our culminating celebration will be our commencement ceremony on Friday, June 21, at 10:00 am.
You have my best wishes as your family prepares for this milestone and the subsequent transition. Enjoy the time with your graduate. I look forward to seeing you on campus in June.
Very truly yours,
George P. Alexis
