Important Parent Access account information: 
  • There is only one parent access account per family (household) and one for each student.  Parents please share login user names and passwords between you but not with your child(ren).  Parents who do not reside together each will have their own account.
  • New parents should have received an email with their password from Parent Access.  If not, please email
  • Ninth grade and new students received their Parent Access login information in an email sent to their Student Email address on August 1, 2016.  The login information for this Student Email account is on the Summary page of the parent's Parent Access account:  "Student Email Address and Network/Email Password".  Students should use that Student Email information to log into their account at and retrieve the Parent Access password within an email from parentconnect.
  • Students who have forgotten their login for Parent Access may hit the Forgot My Password link on the Parent Access sign-in page at  It will be sent to the Student Email account, not a personal email address.
  • Parents who forgot their login information may also hit the Forgot My Password link and it will be sent to the email address we have on file at WHRHS.
  • If you receive a "Tomcat Error" when attempting to log into Parent Access, re-type on your internet browser address line and then log in.
  • Please check your email spam filter to make sure that emails from WHRHS or are not being blocked.
  • When all else fails in trying to retrieve a password or logging in, please email through your email provider.  Thank you.

Where do I get my login?

Your Parent Access user name is the email address we have on file. If you did not receive information about your login information, are unsure of the email address on file or wish to add/change the email address on file, please contact

What if I forget my password?

You can click on the “Forgot your password” link on the Parent Access login page or you can contact to have your password reset.

Please note that you cannot be given your existing password: for safety reasons,Genesis never displays a user’s password, even to the system administrators. If you lose or forget your password, you will be given a new, one-time use, randomly generated password. You will then be required to change the new password the next time you login into your Parent Access account.

How do I log out of the Parent Access Portal?

There is a small “Log Off” button at the upper right of every Parent Access screen. Click the “Log Off” button.

How can I update my student’s Attendance information?

You cannot update any information. If you believe any information is wrong, you must contact the Attendance Office at 908-647-4800, extension 4861 and press 1.

Is it ok for me to just close the browser rather than log off? Do I really need to log off?

Closing your browser is not the same as logging off. We recommend logging out of your Parent Access account to eliminate the possibility of someone else accidentally getting access to your child’s information.

What if I do not have access to all my students?

What if I don’t have access to my child’s Report Card?

If the report card is not available online, it may be that none has yet been made available or the Grading tab has been removed so that the new Marking Period’s report card can be prepared.  Also, any student fine (i.e., uniform, text book, library book) will block access to the report card until paid.
