Scholarships 2025-2026
Each year many scholarships are awarded to the senior class. Scholarships are presented at the Memorial/Community Awards Ceremony or the Senior Awards Ceremony in June. Award amounts are approximate and can vary from year to year, and criteria may also change annually.

| Ben Watkins Memorial Scholarship Available to aid a senior who is furthering their participation in instrumental music. |

| Bob Beckert Memorial Scholarship Available to a senior who has participated in a team sport in at least one of their four years at WHRHS. |

| Detective Gregory Wilson Memorial Scholarship Available to a senior who is actively volunteering with local emergency service units (Rescue Squad, Fire Department) and/or actively involved with a Police Explorers program. Must also be in good standing with their community. |

| The Green Brook Lions Club Scholarship Available to a graduating senior who is a resident of Green Brook, demonstrates a reasonably high level of academic achievement, and is of good character. The student must continue their formal education. This education can be in a two or four year college or a vocational program. The main consideration will be the applicant’s involvement in working with the handicapped, the infirm or less fortunate, and community service. |

| The Green Brook Lions Club Sebastiano “Sal” Failla Scholarship Available to a graduating senior who is a resident of Green Brook, demonstrates a reasonably high level of academic achievement, and is of good character. The student must continue their formal education in a vocational or trade school program. Additional consideration will be given to students who have assisted or served the handicapped. |

| Warren Lions Scholarships Multiple awards available to seniors residing in Warren or Long Hill. In order to qualify for the scholarship, the application must be complete. Please review the checklist. The applicant must be a senior pursuing a 2- or 4-year college or certified trade school this fall (2026) and complete the attached form. |

| Warren Youth Basketball Association Volunteerism Award Available to seniors who were involved in any community volunteer activity. The submission does not have to be basketball or WYBA oriented but applicants must have participated in the WYBA travel or recreation program for at least one season or have volunteered for WYBA in some way. |
