Bob Beckert Memorial Scholarship
Available to a senior who has participated in a team sport in at least one of their
four years at WHRHS.

Up to $10,000 of scholarships to assist residents graduating from High School in 2024.
Five different scholarships are available to Green Brook residents; the Green
Brook Lions Club Scholarship, the David T. Mc Garry Scholarship, the Prichard-Murphy
Memorial Scholarship, the Kenneth G. Herrmann Scholarship, and the Sebastiano “Sal”
Failla Scholarship. More than one recipient may be selected for each scholarship,
based on qualifications.

Warren Lions Club & Barrett Davies Scholarships
The applicant must reside in Warren Township or Long Hill Township. The applicant may
be from private or technical schools outside of Warren or Long Hill Township so long
as they are residents of one of those towns. Applicant must be a Senior pursuing a 2- or
4-year college or certified trade school this fall (2024).

Warren Youth Basketball Association Volunteerism Award
Available to seniors who were involved in any community volunteer activity. The submission
does not have to be basketball or WYBA oriented but applicants must have participated in the
WYBA travel or recreation program for at least one season or have volunteered for WYBA in
some way.

Carol J. Silbert Scholarship
Available to a WHRHS senior who is majoring in a Nursing program.

Dawn Gayle Coury Memorial Scholarship
Available to a WHRHS student who is a WATCHUNG resident only that demonstrates
strong academics and financial need.

The Green Brook Education & Athletic Foundation - Academic Scholarship
Available to Green Brook seniors who have demonstrated academic achievement and have
shown academic improvement in their senior year; attended either I.E.F. Elementary
or Green Brook Middle School for at least one year; and must be a candidate for post
high school education, either academic or vocational.

Available to Green Brook seniors who have demonstrated athletic achievement and
attended either I.E.F. Elementary or Green Brook Middle School for at least one year.

Green Brook PTO Academic Scholarship
Each year the Green Brook PTO awards an Academic Scholarship that is available to
Green Brook seniors that have attended either I.E.F. Elementary or the Green Brook
Middle School for at least one year. The applicant must be a candidate for post high school education, either academic or vocational.

Green Brook PTO Community Service Scholarship
Each year the Green Brook PTO awards a Community Service Scholarship that is available
to Green Brook seniors that have attended either I.E.F. Elementary or the Green Brook              Middle School for at least one year. The applicant must be a candidate for post high school education, either academic or vocational.

The L. Suzanne Kenney Memorial Scholarship awards are presented to two applicants based
on their level of and commitment to service to the community and the school. The scholarships
are available to any Watchung Hills Regional High School graduating senior.

Available to Long Hill Township seniors who graduated from Central Middle School in Long Hill Township and who demonstrate need and service to the community.

Peter C. Rovtar Memorial Scholarship
Available to a senior who has been active in SCRIPT and CUE (either behind the scenes or in performance) with the possibility of majoring in theater arts in college, but not required.

Warren Township PTO Scholarships
Available to graduating students who reside in Warren Township and demonstrate strong academic achievement, community service and participation in extracurricular activities. The senior must have attended at least 1 year of a Warren Township Elementary school,  PLUS 3 years (grades 6, 7 & 8) of Warren Middle School.

Watchung Fire Dept. Scholarship                             (ADDED ON 4/26/2024)
The Watchung Fire Dept. is proud to announce that we will be continuing our longstanding tradition of issuing a scholarship to an area high school graduate that will be attending college or trade school upon graduation.

Available to seniors who demonstrate academic achievement. In order to qualify for the PTO scholarship, the application must be complete. Please review the checklist.

WHRHS PTO Service Scholarship
Available to seniors who are active in extracurricular activities in school and/or the community.
In order to qualify for the PTO scholarship, the application must be complete. Please review
the checklist.

Watchung-Warren Rotary Club Scholarships
Available to seniors who demonstrate financial need.
