Welcome to the Counseling Offices Art Gallery. We want to thank the students for sharing their time and their incredible artistic talent with us! Please take time to enjoy these works of art as you walk through the Counseling Offices. To Ms. Griffin & Ms. Gualtieri, thank you for the support provided to these students this past year, to create these works. We know these young artists will continue to do great things both in the classroom and beyond!
These works of art that make the space feel much more welcoming, which is essential for our students and the wide range of visitors who come into the department. The hard work and dedication mean a lot, and these works of art will be a wonderful reminder of what the students have contributed to our school community. Because they are seen immediately upon entering the space, they set such a perfect, positive tone for everyone who walks through our doors in need of support.

There were two paintings created, one along the archway to our School Counseling Conference room and Student Assistant Counselor Suite. On the left, a beautiful tree with inspiring words chosen - hope, explore, resilience, belonging, happiness, and empathy - are essential qualities we hope our students develop during their time here at Watchung Hills. Above, a peaceful Koi pond created outside the entrance to our new Student Assistance Counselor offices has beautiful Koi fish and lily pads which bring such a calm, grounding energy to that area, which is so essential for our students and the wide range of visitors who come into the suite.
