SCVTS Bus Transportation Scenarios

 

Shared Time SCVTS Transportation Scenarios  

When WHRHS and SCVTS are both in session

  • Buses to WHRHS arrive by 7:15am
  • Morning bus to SCVTS departs WHRHS at 7:15am 
  • AM SCVTS students return back to WHRHS around 10:30am
  • Afternoon bus to SCVTS for PM SCVTS students departs 11:15am
  • End of school day bus from SCVTS returns to WHRHS around at 3pm, transportation home is responsibility of student

 

When WHRHS is in session and SCVTS is not in session

  • Buses to WHRHS arrive by 7:15am
  • AM SCVTS students are to report to the Learning Commons until their classes commence after lunch 
  • PM SCVTS students are to report to the Learning Commons after lunch until 2:15pm dismissal
  • Buses from WHRHS depart at 2:15pm
  • If students have alternative transportation, they can arrive at WHRHS in time for post-lunch classes or leave WHRHS after pre-lunch classes are over

 

When WHRHS is not in session and SCVTS is in session

  • Morning bus from WHRHS to SCVTS departs at 7:15am
  • AM Session students return to WHRHS around 10:30am, transportation home is responsibility of student
  • Afternoon bus to SCVTS for PM SCVTS students departs 11:15am
  • End of school day bus from SCVTS returns to WHRHS around 3pm, transportation home is responsibility of student

 

When WHRHS and SCVTS both have delayed openings

  • AM students do not report to SCVTS. After arriving to WHRHS, AM students are to report to the Learning Commons until their WHRHS scheduled classes begin.
  • Afternoon bus to SCVTS for PM SCVTS students departs 11:15am
  • End of school day bus from SCVTS returns to WHRHS around 3pm, transportation home is responsibility of student

 

When WHRHS has a delayed opening and SCVTS is open regular session

  • The morning bus would leave 9:15am
  • The mid-day bus would return at 10:30am
  • The mid-day bus leaves 11:15am
  • End of school day bus from SCVTS returns to WHRHS around 3pm, transportation home is responsibility of student

 

When WHRHS is full session and SCVTS has a delayed opening

  • AM students do not report to SCVTS. After arriving to WHRHS, AM students who arrive on the WHRHS bus are to report to the Learning Commons until their WHRHS scheduled classes begin
  • Bus for Full Day students will leave WHRHS at 9:15am. Full Day students who arrive on the morning WHRHS bus are to report to the Learning Commons until bus departure
  • Afternoon bus to SCVTS for PM SCVTS students departs 11:15am
  • End of school day bus from SCVTS returns to WHRHS around 3pm, transportation home is responsibility of student

 

When both WHRHS and SCVTS have an early dismissal

  • The morning bus to SCVTS will still depart WHRHS at 7:15am
  • The mid-day bus will return to WHRHS around 10:30am
  • AM SCVTS students will then report to their respective period 6 classes upon arrival to WHRHS and follow their schedule until 12:05 dismissal. Students can follow along in Google Classroom and communicate with their educator about any content missed in Period 5
  • PM students will not report to SCVTS
  • PM students who are unable to provide their own transportation after the period 4 class completes (9:45am) are to report to the Learning Commons until 12:05pm dismissal

 

When WHRHS has an emergency inclement weather early dismissal and SCVTS is full session

  • The morning bus to SCVTS departs at 7:15am
  • The mid-day bus returns to WHRHS with AM and Full Day students who wish to return by bus at 10:30am
  • No SCVTS PM student transportation to or from WHRHS 

 

When WHRHS has an non-inclement weather early dismissal and SCVTS is in full session

  • The morning bus to SCVTS departs at 7:15am
  • The mid-day bus returns to WHRHS with AM at 10:30am
  • AM SCVTS students will then report to their respective time slot 3 class upon arrival to WHRHS and follow their schedule until 12:05 dismissal 
  • Afternoon bus to SCVTS for PM SCVTS students departs at 11:15am
  • PM SCVTS students who are taking the afternoon bus to SCVTS are to report to the Learning Commons after their morning classes complete until the bus departs to SCVTS at 11:15am
  • End of school day bus from SCVTS returns to WHRHS around at 3pm, transportation home is responsibility of student

 

When WHRHS has a full day and SCVTS has an early dismissal

  • The morning bus to SCVTS departs at 7:15am
  • The mid-day bus returns to WHRHS at 10:30am
  • No PM student transportation to SCVTS from WHRHS 
  • PM SCVTS students who are unable to provide own transportation are to report to the Learning Commons until 2:15pm dismissal
  • Full Day SCVTS students upon arrival to WHRHS who do not have transportation home are to report to WHRHS the Learning Commons until 2:15pm WHRHS bus departure

Standardized Testing

Students are required to take state mandated testing. If students are not scheduled to take the state mandated test at SCVTS, they are expected to be present at WHRHS when the test is being administered. Communication will be conducted between the schools to excuse absences.
