Be the Change

Purpose

• To foster unity and school spirit at Watchung Hills Regional HS.  To counter any racism, anti-semitism and bigotry that is in the school, and make it a safe place for everyone. 

What are the qualifications of a Student Ambassador?

• Ambassadors are nominated by faculty, administration, and other students and undergo an interview process to be appointed.
• Ambassadors are Upstanders (someone who stands up for themselves and others)
• Ambassadors are Leaders
• Ambassadors are Role Models
• Ambassadors are Community Builders
• Ambassadors are Understanding and Inclusive of others

What roles do the Ambassadors fill? 

• Serve as a peer leader for a group of freshman
• Help students adjust to high school
• Ambassadors meet with their assigned Freshman Homeroom at Orientation and on Flex Days throughout the year.
