**First day of tryouts will be held on Thursday, 8/15  from 8am to 10 am on the WHRHS Tennis Courts.

Practice will run Monday-Friday with some Saturdays.

Submission of physical forms are required before the season starts. Please complete this early! You don't want to spend the first day of tryouts trying to get cleared to play. Use the Sport's Registration Process link in the menu to the left for details.

All players are expected to be at practice/try-outs, with registration completed and clearance to play, starting with the first day of practice on August 15th, 2019. Players will be notified of the first date of practice and starting time through the Girls Tennis Google Classroom.

Details for try-outs/practice:
  • You will be expected to be at all practices.
  • We will take the first week to sort out the top players and establish Varsity players, JV players, and depending on the number of participants cuts may need to be made.
  • Practices will include stretching, playing, strategies, drilling, instruction, and conditioning.
These forms are used if an athlete is unable to take the bus to or from an away match. It is expected that the team will travel to and from a match together on the bus unless there is an extenuating circumstance. These forms are approved by the athletic director, not the coaches. Please give the completed form to your coach a few days before the match in question. A coach will bring the form to the athletic director for approval.
