Tryout Information

I am proud of how strong our program has become over the years. Much of our focus has been on building the Lady Warrior Field Hockey Program. This year our focus is on becoming a more competitive team within our division. With that in mind there will be cuts for the 2019 JV and Varsity season.

Tryouts will begin August 12. We will be evaluating the players based on their run times, endurance, skill level, commitment to the program, and most importantly attitude. 

Cuts will be posted after practice on August 14. 

If your daughter has a question as to her placement, please have her talk to the coaching staff. We are more than happy to make recommendations to improve player's skill level. 

 

 

 

• Players should be fully equipped: running shoes, cleats, shin guards, sticks, mouth guards, goggles and appropriate practice shorts and shirts. (Appropriate means clothing needs to cover up.)
• Plenty of Water
• Sunscreen
• Eat a healthy breakfast prior to practice
• No jewelry
• You may bring your cell phone for emergency but the use of cell phones are not permitted during practices. Cell phones are to remain in players' backpacks.

 

As of today, July 14 this is the tryout schedule. Scrimmages can be added. Players will be notified during preseason of any and all changes.

7- 10 am

Level Assignments and Cuts will be posted on August 14

 

Regular Practices will begin on August 15

7 -10 am

 

Tuesdays and Thursdays:

Freshmen 7:00 - 9:00 am

Varsity 7:45 -10:45 am 

JV 9:15 - 10:45 am

 

Saturdays: 

Varsity 7:30 - 9:30 am

JV 7:30 - 8:45 am

August 23 - Governor Livingston
