Project Lead The Way
Earn College Credit!
Project Lead The Way is a comprehensive pre-engineering program that focuses on the application of math and science to solve real world technological problems. The program requires students to apply skills across the curriculum to design and develop practical solutions and present those solutions to their peers through various methods. These students have an opportunity to obtain college credit by earning an 85% average in the course and passing the college level exam provided by the Rochester Institute of Technology. The goal is to develop well rounded individuals who can move forward beyond high school with the skills and knowledge to enter an engineering program in college and problem solve for life.
The following courses are eligible for students to earn college credit from RIT:
- Introduction to Engineering
- Principles of Engineering
- Digital Electronics
- Civil Engineering and Architecture
Credits can be used at RIT or transferred to other universities.
