Summer Reading, 2025
Please see grade and course level guidelines for summer reading below. As always, we want you to read actively. That’s why we require that you purchase your own copy of each book you choose to read or are required to read. We want you to have your own copies of summer reading books so you can annotate them. Underline your favorite passages - those you find memorable and those that raise questions for you - and write short notes in the margins about what these passages made you think. You can also use sticky notes to annotate.
At the start of the school year bring your annotated copy of each book with you to English class, and remember to do your part to keep the conversation going as you interact with your new peers and teachers at WHRHS.
