Flash – Trace Bitmap

In Flash, you can convert bitmaps (pixels) into vectors (mathmatical formula) using the trace bitmap command. This will give your jpg file a cartoon type look.

Assignment – create 2 “trace bitmap” examples using Flash.  Modify the vector version. Show the before and after. 

Steps -

1. import a jpg image onto the stage. Then copy and paste it so you have a before and after.
2. Modify, trace bitmap

The lower the number, the more detail.
