Please take note of the Summer Reading assignments:

Incoming freshmen must read The Color of Water by James McBride.

Those who will be juniors must read Nickel & Dimed by Barbara Ehrenreich.

On the first day of class, you will be expected to bring your required reading book, at least 3 pages of notes on your book, and a poem by an established poet relating to a theme of the required reading.
