Course Description

Creative Writing is essentially a writing laboratory with maxi-

mum emphasis on writing and on discussion and commentary

about this writing. Reading assignments, tapes, records, films,

newspaper clippings, cartoons and artwork provide stimuli for

written work. Assignments in exposition, persuasion, imaginative

prose and poetry help develop versatile writing skills.
