The Watchung Hills Mathematics Department is committed to teach students in a wide variety of math courses including algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus. We offer elective courses in probability, computer programming and statistics. Recently the department has begun an initiative with the Science Department called MASS (Math Application and Science Skills). The teachers of the department use a wide variety of tools including TI calculator technology and guided practice to maximize student achievement. All students are required to pass the New Jersey High School Proficiency Assessment in March of their Junior year.
